Box Office: X-Men too strong for Alice

X-Men: Apocalypse easily defeated Alice Through the Looking Glass this weekend at the North America Box Office.

The new X-Men movie debuted with estimated $65 million which is almost half from X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014 that did $110.5 million.

Meanwhile, Alice Through the Looking Glass performed well below expectations at the box office this weekend, placing second with a mere $28.1 million. The first movie, Alice in Wonderland, earned over $1 billion.
