Live by the creed!

Assassins Creed -720x340

Hello fellow legends!

You’re an Assassin’s Creed fan and you cannot wait for a movie to be done about it, well, you are in for a treat! Ubisoft Motion pictures, adapting to the silver screen this marvelous game, brings us right in the middle of the Spanish inquisition in the fifteen century. In this game, for those who are discovering the franchise, they live in a world left to them by those who were there before and had left behind artefacts called Fragments of Eden. They enable the templars and assassins to ensure the progress of humanity. The assassins want free-will but the templars want to guide and control the population.

Callum Lynch, played by the talented Micheal Fassbender, is a descendant of the assassin lineage and is declared dead on an execution table by injection. He then wakes up on another kind of place and he is told he no longer exists. He enters the Animus where he remembers the life of his ancestor five hundred years ago: Master Assassin Aguilar de Nehra. With it comes the knowledge of his techniques and weapons to fight the Templars.

The inquisition was instaured by the catholic kings to punish anyone who wasn’t catholic. They would be tortured on public place like whipping, dismemberment, burned alive… They could also punish you for blasphemy, fornication, bigamy, etc. They were founded in 1480 and depending on the crown, could be judges and executioners. They were finally dissolved in 1834.

I cannot wait to see this!

On this, I’ll leap of faith into another article!
